Parachute Hares Ear

The Parachute Hares Ear dry fly is a very versatile fly that can imitate a variety of insects. This fly can be fished from the first mayfly hatches of spring until the big Drakes are gone.. The Parachute Hares Ear is one of my go to patterns during the prolific March Brown hatches in our area, fished in the larger size 10. It also is a great fly for late summer small stream brookies in size 12-14.
