Shipping and Returns Policies

SHIPPING

  • Shipping times depend on your location.  
  • Please take a moment to double-check the shipping address you've given us. Changes to a delivery address are not possible once a shipment is processed.
  • If you spot anything that needs adjusting in your order, don't worry! Email us at rangeleyflyshop@gmail.com as soon as possible.
  • We are not responsible or liable for lost shipments once their carrier picks them up. Please use the tracking information sent to you. If you are still looking for a confirmed delivered package, please contact your local USPS, FedEx, or UPS office.
  • Please be aware that our shipping partners may encounter unforeseen delays beyond our control at times. We genuinely appreciate your understanding and patience during such circumstances.

After receiving your order, you will automatically receive a confirmation email with all the details; if you didn't find it, it might have slipped into your spam folder. Don't hesitate to contact us if you need further confirmation. All orders will be handled within 1 to 3 business days (excluding weekends and holidays). Once we ship your order, you will receive an email notification.

Domestic Shipping Rates and Estimates

We offer a flat shipping rate of $4.50 for your order under $45 (excluding any orders with products that require ground shipping), which is displayed at checkout. Any item requiring ground shipping, such as most fly-tying cement, has a special fee on the item page.  

Free shipping is offered for any order over $45.

INTERNATIONAL SHIPPING

We do not offer international shipping. 

HOW DO I CHECK THE STATUS OF MY ORDER?

When your order has shipped, you will receive an email notification from us, including a tracking number you can use to check its status. Please allow 48 hours for the tracking information to become available.

If you haven’t received your order within seven(7) days of receiving your shipping confirmation email, please contact us at rangeleyflyshop@gmail.com with your name and order number, and we will look into it for you.

IN-STORE PICKUP

You can skip the shipping fees with free local pickup at the Rangeley Region Sport Shop, 2529 Main St, Rangeley. After placing your order and choosing local pickup during checkout, your order will be prepared and available for pickup within one (1) business day. We will email you when your order is ready.

Our in-store pickup hours are 8:30 am – 4:30 pm, Monday through Saturday. Please have your order confirmation email with you when you come.

CANCELLATIONS, RETURNS AND EXCHANGES POLICY 

We want you to be happy with your purchase! If you wish to return or exchange your order for whatever reason, we’re here to help! We offer free returns within 30 days of purchase, excluding shipping costs. You can return your product for store credit, a different product, or a refund to the original payment method.

Please note the following about our return and refund policy:

    • Discounted, clearance or sales items are final and cannot be returned or exchanged
    • Return items must be in absolutely new condition, in the original packaging, and have tags attached or included
    • Rods must have perfectly clean cork; don’t handle them with grubby hands
    • The customer pays return shipping costs

To initiate a return, please complete the following steps:

Reply to your order confirmation email to request which products you want to return, and we will be in touch with you

    1. You can save all packaging to make the return easier
    2. Carefully package the items in the original shipping box or any suitable shipping carton
    3. Ensure you include your order number so we know who it's from!
    4. The customer is responsible for shipping charges on all returns and exchanges

HOW SOON WILL I GET MY REFUND?

  • If all looks good, your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to the original payment method as soon as possible
  • Rangeley Region Sport Shop will process the refund immediately. Still, the banks or credit card companies sometimes take a few days to post it to your account.
  • From the time we physically receive the return, it is usually about 48 hours to post back to your bank account

If your order arrives damaged, please call us at 1-207-864-5615 or email us as soon as possible at rangeleyflyshop@gmail.com with your order number and a photo of the item’s condition. We handle returns individually and strive to find a resolution that meets your satisfaction.

HOW TO MAKE AN EXCHANGE

Place a new order for the fastest possible service and ensure that inventory of your desired new item(s) is available. We'll refund the original cost, minus shipping upon arrival, of your return, assuming everything is in good order.  This process gets your new product fast.

OOPS! DID RANGELEY REGION SPORT SHOP MAKE A MISTAKE ON YOUR ORDER?

Oh no! We're darn good, but we're also human. Please note this, and we'll waive the return fee and get right after it to make things right and take good care of you. Your order is so vital to our small business.
