Governor Aiken #2 8X- Named after Governor George D. Aiken of Vermont, by his fishing buddy Russell Merriman, this is another New England favorite that has very accurate smelt coloring. Created sometime in the 1930's/40's, it's popularity has withstood the test of time, and in 2014 was given the honor of being the official fishing fly of Vermont.
