Magog Smelt #2, 8X long- Used extensively on Maine lakes as a smelt imitation, the Magog Smelt was created by Frier Gulline of Fin, Fur and Feather. Ltd., for fishing landlocked salmon in the Memphremagog Lake that lies along the border of Quebec, Canada and Vermont in the United States. Besides being good for freshwater game, prominent saltwater fisherman like Edward Materne (who put it on No.1 hooks) and Harold Gibbs, (both of Rhode Island), noted it's success for taking smallmouth and striped bass as well, which led to it's popularity in the U.S.
