An attractive olive downwing streamer created by Gene Maxim and Butch Carey for their fishing friend, John Perkins. Tied as a Dace imitation when they opened a fat trout to find it full of little Dace, West Branch of the Penobscot, early 1980s. Original recipe used black and white kiptail (as straight as possible) and dyed Mallard or Plymouth Rock Hen feathers.
