This is one of the real classic Maine streamer flies. A great smelt imitator, The Supervisor is aptly named as it is often considered one of the most prestigious Maine streamer flies. A Warden Supervisor by the name of Joseph S. Stickney, of Saco, Maine, had the idea of the pattern while at Moose Pond in 1925.
NOTE: The current flies we have in stock (March 2025) have a much brighter blue feather.
