Lou Zambello is a widely published author, columnist, instructor, and speaker. He is a registered Maine Guide. His three previous books are Fly Fishers Guide to New England, Fly Fishing Northern New England's Seasons, and In Pursuit of Trophy Brook Trout. His articles and stories have appeared in a variety of fly-fishing magazines and books, including most recently, The Catch of a Lifetime: Moments of Fly-Fishing Glory, edited by Peter Kaminsky. Lou has been a columnist for the Maine Sportsman for over 10 years.

Lou and his wife, Lindsey, fish throughout North America and around the world. Home waters include the Kennebago watershed in western Maine and the Sebago Lake area near Portland.
