Not much history on this fly. It is however a popular pattern among area fisherman.  

A variation of the popular Joe's smelt pattern.

This pattern is locally tied.

Great colors make this a real fish attractor.  It's one of my top 3 streamers. Very good in the spring where there are spawning red belly shiners.
