Flytying

Fly tying supplies are the materials (feathers, fur, synthetics, thread, wire) and tools (vise, bobbin, scissors, pliers) used to construct artificial flies, which mimic insects or baitfish to fool fish into biting, essentially everything needed to create an "insect" on a hook. These supplies range from basic natural & synthetic fibers for bodies and wings (like deer hair, rabbit, marabou) to specialized equipment for holding the hook and manipulating materials.
