Redington Run Fly Reel

The Redington Run fly reel pairs a light aluminum build with a smooth carbon fiber drag. Its large arbor helps you wind in line quickly. In addition, the ported inner spool barrel adds strength while reducing weight. This reel suits anglers who want a lightweight option with stopping power.

Redington Run fly reel drag and control

The compact carbon fiber drag delivers smooth, reliable pressure. As a result, it helps you keep tension on a fish during the fight. The design combines that drag system with a durable die-cast aluminum body.

For example, picture a trout turning into the current after taking your fly. You bring loose line onto the reel and follow the fish. Then, the drag helps manage the line as the fish pulls away.

Large arbor for fast line pickup

A fish can change direction in a moment. When it turns toward you, quick line pickup matters. The Run's large arbor helps you wind in slack and keep pressure on the fish.

Meanwhile, the spool has ports on its inner barrel. These openings help reduce weight, while the design adds durability. Together, the spool and frame support a reel built for regular use on the water.

A light build for your fishing setup

Redington uses die-cast aluminum for the Run's body. This gives the reel a durable build without adding needless weight. In addition, the compact drag system keeps the focus on a light, practical design.

Before you choose a reel, consider the rod and line you plan to use. Next, check the details of your selected option. That helps you put together a setup suited to your fishing plans.
