RIO Fluoroflex Steelhead/Salmon Tapered Leader

Engineered for anglers who need stealth and reliability in low, clear rivers where fish are selective, the RIO Fluoroflex Steelhead/Salmon Leader is a 9-foot tapered leader designed for clear, demanding waters. Built entirely from fluorocarbon, it offers superior invisibility and durability when targeting steelhead, salmon, and sea-run trout.

This leader features a medium-stiff taper with a long butt section that turns over larger flies with ease and handles tough casting conditions. The fluorocarbon construction resists abrasion while maintaining excellent knot and tensile strength. A hand-tied perfection loop in the butt end allows quick fly changes without retying.
