Uni Thread comes in three different sizes and many different colors. It is a great general purpose thread. While it lays flat on the hook it is not considered a flat thread. It comes in three strengths with 3/0 being the strongest. 8/0 is the most commonly used for most flies while 6/0 might be better for large streamers.
