Fishing Report May 27 2016

The weather this week turned from spring to summer. Water temps are around the 60 degree mark. The hatches are in full swing. Yesterday I saw Hendricksons, March Browns, Caddis, and Little Black stone all at the same time. Fishing is good most places except for low water on the freestone rivers. Number 10 bridge is full of suckers and chubs but there are some real fish mixed in. The Rapid is fishing good but is crowded at times. The Magalloway should be at prime time with good hatches and the coldest water temps. The Kennebago should see some new fish at any time especially if we see some rain and the flow increases. You should be prepared for more variety of bugs when you hit the water this week end. Mayfly patterns in grey and tan in sizes 16-12. Green body caddis in size 12-14. Also mayflies that offer different presentations, emerging, parachute and dun. There will be a lot of fisherman on the water this week end so practice patience and good ethics.

Is this a high water weekend on mag? No flow report on phone.
