Fishing Report - June 28 2018

It is raining as I write this report. We did not yet receive the heavy rain they predicted but could end up with an inch. Water temps are not too bad in the mid 60's. The alder flies are in at the Rapid below Lower Dam, also lots of Stoneflies. Drake mayflies are going strong on the lakes and ponds that have them. Catching has not been easy in most places lately so you have to really work at it and try all the options you have. I have had good reports from those fishing ponds but this could change after the predicted heat wave of the coming week. Make sure to get out and enjoy the woods and waters this week.  The biting bugs are still around to keep you company.
