After some rain on Wednesday and a cool morning today the weather will be hot and dry thru the weekend. The Magalloway will be the coldest water while the Rapid will be running rafting water this weekend. Water temps in the freestones range from the 60's in the headwaters to the low 70's near the lower stretches. Tan caddis and stoneflies are the bugs that are around. Keys to success during hot weather are, fish early and late in the day. Find cold water and shady places. Use lighter weight rods for smaller fish to add some excitement to the action. Forget about keeping count on size and numbers and enjoy the summer woods.
