Rangeley Region Fishing Report - June 15 2023

It has been a mixed bag in the weather department this week. But unlike last week the air temps are 10 degrees warmer. The water temps in most places are in the 56-68 degree range. There is still a mixture of mayflies around but caddis will be on the way. The Magalloway already had some great caddis hatches from what I have heard. Flows have been good and should stay that way as rain is in the forecast. I have heard that Upper Dam is hard fishing as the lake level has backed up into the pool. Fishing should be good anywhere you go this coming weekend just be ready for any kind of weather, Also the biting bugs are pretty bad. Don't forget about the Flyfishing Festival on Saturday in Rangeley.
