After a cool and wet weekend the weather has turned summer like. This means that water temps are now in the 65 to 70 degree range. Freestone streams can be fished in the morning and evenings being careful not to fish when water temps are 70 or above. The Magalloway has returned to normal summer flows which should bring a fresh batch of fish further up the river. Stoneflies should be hatching soon on the Mag. I have heard of good success there on nymphs and dries. The Rapid has the tail end of the Alder flies but will be to warming up until our next cool period rolls in and cools it down. The big drake hatches have come and gone but will can continue sporadically as the weather is right. Hex's will follow soon in those ponds that have them. Have a great weekend.
