Rangeley Region Fishing Report - June 13 2024

The roller coaster weather continues as we say good bye to the cloudy cool weather and welcome sun and warmer temps. After a bump in flows from the latest rain the freestones are dropping but the tail waters still have higher than normal flows. Hendricksons and similar mayflies are still present with caddis coming on in places. Some drakes have been seen but nothing to call it the start of the hatches. Water temps today were in the 58-60 range and should start coming up as the warm weather settles in on us. The last rain along with cool water temps should of moved salmon up those rivers that have them. Don't forget the bug spray.
