George Fletcher

Last July we got a note with a t-shirt order.  It read: "Hi! My name is Brady Hoffman, my grandfather’s name was George Earle Fletcher. His father, my great grandfather, was George Fletcher. We still have pictures hanging up in our living room of him sitting in front of Rangeley Region Sports Shop. I had recently just gotten into fly fishing and my Uncle George Scott Fletcher brought me a bunch of fly fishing supplies (fly tying material, fly line, rods and reels). He also brought me an unopened bag of fly tying material from years ago from Rangeley Region Sports Shop. I decided to look it up and to my surprise figures out you were still open! I will wear my Rangeley Region Sports Shop shirt proudly!"

Well, we had to follow that up and boldly asked if Brady would share the photos of his great grandfather, our shop's founder.  The two photos here are the priceless shots he sent.  Another blog post will have some other photos from Brady of George fishing.
