Sideling Hill Hackle 3B Saddle Bundle

Sideling Hill Hackle Farm is a small producer of high quality fly tying hackle from the farm country of Pennsylvania. The owner, Evan Brandt, shares that he seeks to "produce feathers that wrap true, aren't too dense or too sparse, and do not have thick, undesirable stems". In 2022 Evan purchased stock from Charlie Collins upon his retirement to increase production and continue to improve his hackle lines. The stand out feature of the resulting hackle is a stunning collection of natural colors, speckling and barring. 

Saddle feathers don't mature as quickly as cape feathers, so when the cape is ready for harvest, the saddle is only partially ready, this was the type of saddle that came with the Collins capes in the past.  Instead of wasting the saddles, Sideling Hill Hackle is bundling them to give you a variety of feathers saddle colors at a fair price.  Each package is different so we have photographed them all.  Use the numbers to identify the bundle you want.
