Fishing Report – August 22 2015
Sorry for the delay in this report, there is not much to report. We are in the dog days of summer. We only got .1 inches of rain here yesterday but it is less humid than the day before. The Magalloway is at rafting flows this week end from 10 to 3 and has a water temp in the mid to high 60’s. The Kennebago is very low but had a water temp. of 64 this morning. The hot and humid weather has brought out a resurgence of Drakes on the lakes and ponds. As I look ahead , the cooler weather predicted for next week should help the water temps to cool to down and improve fishing conditions. On the bright side, it is good weather for hiking and exploring. The bugs are not to bad and there is an abundant crop of Blueberries just about anywhere you turn. Think September.
