We received 1//3 to 1/2 an inch of rain today and more is expected in the next couple of days. Flows remain low but there are still brookies around in the streams and rivers. Water temps have been cooling a bit in the 62 -65 degree range in the coolest places. The Magalloway was at 65 degrees today and we are still getting action on dry caddis flies. They will be running high water for the rafters this week which should move some fresh fish up the river. The water will be up from 9 - 3 so you can still fish early and late. It's a great time to spend the day on a river. The biting bugs have subsided, the fishing is easy with dry flies and the blueberries are abundant.
