This month's fly is the Bivisible. This fly was created by Edward Hewitt in the 1930's. The Bivisible was one of the "go to" flies in my box when I was a young fisherman. Hewitt's idea on the two color hackle was to make it visible to the fish and the fisherman alike. His idea was that dark colors are more visible to the fish from below and the white color stands out on the water for the fisherman to see.
