Rabbit Foot Emerger

This month's pattern is the Tom Rosenbauer Rabbit Foot Emerger. This pattern was created by Tom Rosenbauer of Orvis fame.  It is designed to float in the film like an emerging bug. It can be tied in any color you might need to match the hatch. Olive, tan and rust would be my top colors to use. The under wing of C.D.C. and upper wing of rabbit foot hare help to keep it floating.

Hook - Light, curved emerger size 12-18
Thread - Brown
Tail - Brown antron
Body - rabbit dubbing
Under wing - Natural C.D.C.
Wing - Rabbit foot hair dyed gray
Head - Olive brown dubbing
