special fly boxes made for the Casting For Recovery FFIM day camp

Next Saturday, January 6, we'll gather at the Red Onion Restaurant in Rangeley from  9 AM - 6 PM to try to fill 20 special  boxes with flies for the June FFIM/CFR day camp.  Come for the whole day if you can or just a few hours and enjoy the comradery of fellow tiers/anglers.  Bring tools and supplies to tie your favorite trout candy. We want the beautiful ladies of CFR to have the most effective flies in the area. (When planning what to tie, think about the basics such as pheasant tails, BH pheasant tails, copper John, Olive or black wooly buggers, Black or gray ghost streamers, BWO dry, doodle bugs, etc. etc…. the flies you always have in your box when you are heading to this area to fish)  The goal is 3 dozen flies per box!

Coffee and some pizza will be available, and you can order off the menu.  Call the shop to let us know you are coming or if you have questions.  (We have a couple options of space at the Red Onion, so knowing how many are coming is important to setting up.)
