Light Cahill
The featured fly in this posting is the Light Cahill wet fly. The Cahill family of flies come from New York and were originated in the 1880's by Daniel Cahill. It imitates a light colored mayfly and in it's early days was considered to be one of the most effective flies you could use. It was listed in most of the early Fletcher Fly Shop catalogs. The one in the picture is tied by Justin Crouse who ties our wet flies for the shop.
