After another shot of water on Monday some streams and rivers are back to low and warm. The Kennebago saw no new fish show up and is low again. I haven't been to the Magalloway but assume that some new fish came up with the high flow from last week end. The headwaters are at good levels and have the coldest water. Not many bugs around except for midges and occasional B.W.O.'s. As we get closer to September the rain storms that raise the water level will be more likely to bring fish up as they stage for the spawning run at the mouth of the moving water. Be ready, it won't be long!

The lower Magalloway is about the only show in town right now. Fish high up the river where the coldest water is.
Brett – I have one afternoon this week while passing thru the area where I can fish for 6 hours or so. What’s your best recommendation? Regards, R
Ponds are very active now…red hornbergs very hot.
