Not much has changed here over the last week. I am hoping that the next weather system that is working its way through will get rid of this humid weather we have had. Cool nights are essential to bring the water temps down to a better range for the fish. Lows are still good in the freestone rivers and streams. There will be rafting flows at the Magalloway this week end between 10 a.m. and 3 p.m..Temps on the Mag. are from 60 to 70 degrees. There are not many bugs around now leading to slow surface fishing. The fish will have nothing but midges as we move toward the end of the month so get ready with the right flies. Also be sure to have subsurface flies like buggers and soft hackle wet flies.
